Hi ...my name is Sumesh Bala. I am an indian artist from Kannur and I am working in Trivandrum, Kerala. I pursued BFA(Bachelor in Fine Arts) from the College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. I started on my own and when I stared receiving projects I made a team which led to the creation my company Belocre in 2016 with a office located at Poojapura, Trivandrum. The Belocre team consists of nine qualified and experienced artists who manifest their creativity at an elegant studio space. Belocre also provides space and support for struggling artists to nurture their career.

My paintings are mostly based on events that strike me at some point of time in my life. I love to put them on canvas with its minute detail and let my viewers explore the thoughts and feelings that  I had in the very special moment. My inspiration  comes from the works and styles of some great western artists like Max Beckmann and Vincent Van Gogh. Yellow Ochre is my favourite watercolour. Its natural earthy colour gives my paintings a warm and agreeable impression to everyone. A touch of yellow

ochre is inevitable in my canvas. Although we work on all art forms like Kerala Mural paining, Graffiti, Modern Art, Indian Art, Caricature, Wall Relief, Pot Painting, concept designing and Sculptures, we plan to shift our focus mainly on Street Art and Wall Art projects. We have worked for Padmashree Mohanlal, Nivin Pauly, Maniyan Pillai Raju, Roshan Andrews, Sanil Kumar MB and many other prominent personalities. National Health Mission, Kerala Forest Department, Directorate of Health Service, Saksharatha Mission, Bethany Navajeevan School, Cliff House, Blood Donors Kerala are some of the other important projects we have successfully accomplished. We also have our paintings sold in Germany, Dubai, Australia, Muscat, Bengaluru, Pune, Tamil Nadu. I have participated in a number of exhibitions including Lalithakala Academy exhibition and have also recieved the Lalithakala Academy Special Mention Award in 2014. In the same year, I took part in Muziris Biennale Residency, Kochi. In 2015, I was selected as one among seven Indian artists to participate in an event organized by ASYAAF International exhibition held in South Korea.
